'The Fantasy Of A Manikin' exhibition dives deep into the creative mind of Couturier Qaysean Williams. From galactic streetwear to goddess worthy gowns, Qaysean brings fantasy to life through his hand sewn designs and electrifying creative vision.
held at the bsb gallery in Trenton NJ (143 E. State St. Trenton NJ) from June 1st-29th

Message from manikin:

"This is my first ever solo fashion exhibition that allows me to show the world the artistic vibrations that exists in my mind in a museum stylistic format. I typically have runway presentations to display my creations, however I wanted to showcase my latest collection 'Dynasty' and my other mediums of work in fashion differently this time around. I enjoy museums such as FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) , and I've always loved seeing the clothing on display and dreaming of having my very own exhibition. I hope everyone who see's my work can feel the love and amazing energy that I put into making it all come to life. I am blessed to have collaborated with other artist in the Trenton area to be apart of my exhibition as well to begin forming the unity needed as artists to grow. 'The Fantasy Of a Manikin' is my fantasies of success in the reality realm of life."

The dynasty collection

Inspired by the Ancient worlds of Egyptians and the Byzantine empire, Manikin uses enriched embroidered fabrications, gold and silver motifs resembling stained glass of ancient churches to bring to life the opulence that existed in the ancient world. The Dynasty collection is fit for a King or Queen in his or her own right.
